Description:  DeBruce Grain 6129 has a history. This notable SD-9 was built 4/59 as C&S #837, going to BN and then for a short time BNSF, before being put out to pasture. The unit was sent to DeBruce with her BNSF markings blanked out, but as it seems, they have 'mysteriously' reappeared....I beleive she now works at Benkleman for Kappa grain, whose staff seems to be taking great care of her. Description:  High angle sun w/ low angle view made this great rear 3/4 photo! Kappa Grain has a new loop loading track at the location, the 6129 is parked on an inside siding for occasional car movement. Seems like the footboard had some repairs made, as well as a numberboard being replaced.
