| Mast signals [inbound] at Chiang Rak Station. Chiang Rak happens to be an 'overbuilt' station; there is much more platform and side track here than the volume of use indicates. In the 1990's this station was expanded for the "Pan-Asian {olympic} Games" and has seem much less use since then. Lantern switches can be seen among the weeds and to the right, stacks of concrete ties for the upcoming line extension project. |
