| On the UP's Kersey Branch east of Greeley, CO. The last rays of sunlight lit up these rails into a golden ribbon. There is a bit of unexpected history here..just a half mile west of this point stands a short obelisk next to the track in commemoration of a 1961 crossing accident with a school bus. 20 children died in the collision with UP train 111, The City of Denver. |
