A brief lull in traffic made things look later than the approximately 8 pm time of this photo. This was on Dec. 5th, HRH King Rama 9's birthday, so there may have been some extra lighting on the station..we had just wrapped up a swell evening of Steam Special Service photography. |

The No. 1 end of AD24C 4109, as the crew waits for thier highball out. This is one of the first units of this model for the SRT, being built in 1975. 2 days after this photo, I caught the 4109 walking a train up to Pha Sadet station in the Dong Phraya Yen Range, 86 miles from here! |

AD24C No. 4204 is from the second order for this model, built in 1980. SRT has given each of the 4 order series a slightly different paint job to differentiate between them. Here 4204 has pulled her train into the station and will back out empty after a quick car service. |

1983 built AD24C No. 4307 waits for a car service before backing her train out from the platform. This unit is kind of a rarity, as out of the 113 AD24's SRT took delivery of, the 1983 built 4300 series only comprised 9 units. They were likely a 'fill in' order to replace units which were prematurely retired..SRT would complete thier AD24 run with 20 more units ordered in 1985. |
